Sliding H Ranch has relocated from Chandler to Scottsdale. We are no longer offering boarding or lessons. Instead, we are focusing on breeding and showing.
The breeding operation began with one Bay Quarter Horse stallion, Zippin KC Leager, in late 1999. Now we also proudly stand an AQHA Red Roan stallion, Shining Starlite. Zippin KC Leager, now retired from showing, competed succesfully in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure, and the occasional Halter class. Shining Starlite shows in Reining, and has been a World Show Qualifier.

This is Lucy, our official greeter. As you can see by her waistline,she has no part at all in exercising any horses or anything else. She does, however, have the additional position of 'mouser' and enjoys bird hunting as a hobby. She has actually caught one mouse so far, but we're not sure itreally counted as it was a pretty young one. |
